Mystics & Ethics
When I first started Mystics and Sages, I was naive. I didn't fully comprehend what I was getting myself into. As a deeply stubborn person, however, I was fully committed to seeing it through.
All I knew was that I loved the beautiful geometric designs of Tuareg jewelry—the aesthetic, the rich history, the folklore, and the culture embodied in each piece of jewelry and home décor.
Let this newsletter serve as an opportunity to share our intentions and the values that guide our work.

Here is what we stand for:
We are committed to working alongside Tuareg artisans to help preserve their artisanal traditions. We support the continuation of traditional design techniques and craftsmanship through long-term, respectful partnerships with artisan communities.
We strive to source our precious materials from organizations that do not use child or forced labor. Whenever possible, we choose to work with small-scale miners through fair trade practices.
Our ultimate goal is to create a collection of heirloom-quality pieces that serve as a bridge between the past, present, and future through the enduring power of artisanal design.

Artisanal craftsmanship is rightfully taking its place in the fashion conversation, and we are proud to be part of that movement.
While we may not get everything right, we are deeply intentional about building a more thoughtful and impactful business. We hope our core values will serve as our North Star, guiding every decision we make as we work toward creating a better future for the communities we partner with and the customers we serve.
