Mystics & Sages jewelry is meticulously crafted by hand, incorporating semi-precious stones, crystals, sterling silver, ebony wood, and leather. Because of the handmade nature of our jewelry, slight variations in color, size, or pattern may occur due to the use of natural elements. Please note that for hygiene purposes, we only accept returns on earring purchases if the items are deemed of unacceptable quality or inaccurately described.

Please handle your jewelry with care as Mystics and Sages cannot be held responsible for any breakages resulting from mishandling. Avoid contact with personal items such as sanitizer, lotions, perfumes, and oils as certain metals and stones may react, leading to discoloration or tarnishing. We advise against wearing this product while showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Regularly clean with a soft cloth and store in a dry, dark place for optimal protection.

Sterling Silver:

Sterling silver serves as an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin seeking a durable and low-maintenance metal, or simply drawn to its aesthetic appeal.

Tarnishing is a common occurrence with sterling silver, often resulting from contact with various chemicals. Sweat, sulfur, and chlorine are among the primary culprits, and these substances are often encountered in daily life. The good news, however, is that sterling silver can easily be restored to its original luster with the use of a jewelry-specific polishing cloth.

Ebony Wood:

When caring for ebony wood, ensure to delicately wash any dirt from your jewelry using a soft cloth and mild soap, and promptly dry it afterward. Store your jewelry in an airtight container to shield it from moisture and dust. Avoid exposing the wood to acidic chemicals that may harm or distort its appearance. If your wood jewelry loses its luster over time, a small amount of beeswax can be used to gently polish it.

Caring for semiprecious stones like agate is straightforward. Regular cleaning with warm, sudsy water and a soft cloth helps maintain their shine. Ensure thorough drying after cleaning to prevent water spots. Avoid exposing the jewelry to harsh chemicals, as they can damage both the gemstone and the metal setting. Proper storage in a soft pouch or jewelry box prevents scratches and tangling with other jewelry. Handle the jewelry with care, avoiding activities that may cause harsh impact or scratches.
